In recognition of Armed Forces Day, Rev. Jerome Fowler will lead a discussion of the video Restoring Honor: The Case of Chaplin Plummer. Henry Vinton Plummer was the first African American to be appointed a U.S. Army Chaplain in the regular Army who was discharged for "conduct unbecoming an officer and gentleman" after 10 years of service. This video tells the story of the failed attempts made to overturn these charges. Cost: Free with Museum Admission
